Ivan Juric commented Roma’s humiliating defeat to Fiorentina in his post-match interview with Sky Sport.
The Croatian manager discussed the team’s performance and responded to rumors of his job being on the line.
“We did everything wrong. Both in the game and in the attitude, I didn’t expect it, we were coming off a series of good performances.”
“I was very disappointed with the first half, I saw very little attention, really bad things in the defensive phase. And I chose to change, to give a jolt and a signal, but also for technical reasons.”
“But not the two of them, the whole team. In seven games we have suffered very little, tonight everything was wrong. There are few things to say at this moment.”
“Today we conceded ridiculous goals. If a team in 7 games always does well, today they were not focused. Games like this happen, it happened to us today. Let’s hope everything happened today, now we start again.”
“In 40 days we have done a great job, and today we have thrown it all in the toilet… I am very sorry. But football is like that, others decide. I remain convinced that we have done many good things, today I did not expect it.”
