Juventus defender Federico Gatti laments Roma draw: “We wanted to win.”

Date:

Juventus defender Federico Gatti did not sound happy with his team’s performance in the 0-0 draw with Roma.

After the match, Gatti spoke to DAZN.

“There is great about tonight’s result,” he said. “We wanted to win, we take this point but we are not 100% happy.”

“Now comes the break and we have to work even harder to blend in even more with the new arrivals.”

“What we lacked? We missed some quality, especially us defenders – we didn’t do well enough in helping the team build from the back. We wanted to finish with the third victory before the break. In these next two weeks we will rest and work hard to improve.”

“Dovbyk? He is physically strong and attacks the open space,” said Gatti in his interview with Sky Sport. “He seems difficult to mark, but that’s not why he was top scorer in La Liga.”
