As the Kentucky Wildcats look to wrap up their 2025 class, Mark Pope has issued a new scholarship offer for 2026.
According to KSR’s Jacob Polacheck, Kentucky has offered 5-star shooting guard Alijah Arenas. He’s the son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas.
Measuring in at 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds, Arenas plays at Chatsworth High School in California. He’s ranked third overall in 2026 by On3, fifth by 247 Sports, and fourth by both ESPN and Rivals.
Arenas has been mentioned as a reclass candidate, so he could be someone Kentucky recruits for the 2025 class. He holds additional scholarship offers from Alabama, Arizona, UCLA, Texas, Kansas, and Ole Miss, among others.
