Knicks’ Jalen Brunson earns NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors

Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

In four games this past week, Brunson led the Knicks to a 3-1 record while averaging 26.8 points and 9.8 assists. He shot 54.7 percent from the floor and 52.4 percent from three-point range.

Now 20 games into his third season as a Knick, Brunson is once again putting up tremendous overall numbers. The Captain is averaging 25.4 points, 7.9 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game while shooting 41.1 percent from beyond the arc.

This is Brunson’s sixth Player of the Week Award as a member of the Knicks, and his first of the 2024-25 campaign.
