The National Hurricane Center’s 11 am Monday advisory reported that Tropical Depression Joyce is 940 miles east-northeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 35 mph. It’s moving 2 mph to the north.

“Some weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Joyce is expected to become a remnant low soon.” according to meteorologists.
