In Week 5 of the Super 25, we welcome Long Island Lutheran to the rankings.
It was a tumultuous start of the season for the Crusaders, in which they lost five of their first eight games, the team has sprung back into shape, winning 12 in a row. The most recent victory, over No. 24 Paul VI, along with wins over No. 1 Columbus and former Super 25 team AZ Compass Prep, is enough evidence that they’re among the best teams in the country. They’ll continue being challenged against No. 15 John Marshall and No. 17 IMG Academy.
Lake Norman also enters the rankings with a 20-1 record. The North Carolina school, long on the Super 25 watch list, hasn’t lost this calendar year.
