Leandro Paredes responds to Boca Juniors rumors: “If something has to happen, it will happen.”

Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes has addressed the recent rumors of an imminent return to Boca Juniors.

The Argentine has been increasingly linked with a return to his former club as he faces limited playing time under Roma boss Ivan Juric.

With Daniele De Rossi’s dismissal, Paredes could be prompted to already move away from the Italian capital in January.

In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Paredes said, “It’s always nice to play in the Club World Cup, I can’t say much about it.”

“I live my life calmly, experiencing my career day by day. And as I always say, if something has to happen, it will happen…”
