Lions elevate S Jamal Adams again

Date:

The Lions signed safety Jamal Adams to their practice squad on Dec. 1. He will play his second game for them Sunday.

Detroit elevated Adams from the practice squad for a second consecutive week, and he will play against the Bills.

Adams played eight snaps in his Lions debut on Thursday Night Football in Week 14. He made one tackle.

He opened the season with the Titans and appeared in three games in September before being released in mid-October. Adams made four tackles while in Tennessee.

The Lions also elevated linebacker Andrew Beauplan with Trevor Nowakse (concussion) out. Beauplan was elevated for two other games this season, and he saw action on 20 special teams snaps.
