For the first time since its inception in 2022, LIV Golf will open its season with four consecutive international events.
The Saudi Arabia-financed league will start its fourth year with tournaments in Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
The season opens Feb. 6-8 with LIV’s debut event in the Saudi Arabia capital of Riyadh. LIV was in Jeddah its first three years. Jupiter’s Brooks Koepka will be sad to see Jeddah off the schedule after winning there in 2022 and 2023.
LIV will then make the 7,300-mile trip across the Indian Ocean to Australia, for its next event, Feb. 14-16, at the Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, where it has become wildly popular. LIV has been in Adelaide the last two seasons.
Two weeks later, on March 7-9, LIV heads to China for the second consecutive year with its tournament in Hong Kong.
LIV stays in Asia and heads to Singapore’s Sentosa Golf Club for the third straight year, March 14-16, completing the first four of its 14-event season.
LIV opened its season outside of the U.S. its first three seasons in Hertfordshire, England, for its inaugural event in 2022 and the last two years at Mayakoba in Mexico. But then it has always returned home, playing its second week outside of Portland in 2022, Tucson in 2023 and Las Vegas this year.
