Bryson DeChambeau has a new sponsor and his LIV team landed the first significant sponsor in its history.
On Friday, Reebok announced a long-term partnership with DeChambeau and his Crushers GC, marking the brand’s re-entry into the performance golf category as the “official apparel and footwear sponsor” of DeChambeau and the team.
“I’m proud to partner with Reebok to usher in the brand’s return to golf,” DeChambeau said in a press release. “When looking for a partner for Crushers GC, we wanted to find a brand that aligns with our vision for golf’s future and has the ability to increase visibility of the game around the world, and Reebok was the perfect fit. With a great legacy in disrupting sports culture, I’m excited to see what we can do together to push the sport of golf to new heights.”
DeChambeau, who has emerged as one of the most popular players in the game this year, won the U.S. Open in June for the second time, and his LIV team won the team title this season. He previously was an ambassador for Puma Golf apparel. According to the press release, the entire Crushers team, which also consists of Paul Casey, Anirban Lahiri and Charles Howell III, will debut head-to-toe apparel and footwear from Reebok on the course in 2025, including polos, outerwear, pants, shorts and golf shoes.
As a Reebok athlete, DeChambeau will also be seen training in the brand’s performance gear. Exclusive Reebok x Bryson DeChambeau apparel is expected in future seasons.
Reebok had a large presence in golf in the 1980s and ’90s behind its main brand ambassador Greg Norman, who is the current CEO of LIV Golf, though he has admitted his time in that role is coming to an end. Reebok will face a tough task to gain market share going up against heavyweights such as FootJoy, Adidas, Ecco and others in footwear and the apparel side may be even trickier to gain footing.
“With a rich heritage in golf, we’re excited to make our return to the sport with a new approach to grow the game beyond tradition,” said Todd Krinsky, Reebok CEO. “Bryson has been a positive force in bringing golf to the forefront of sport culture, and we’re thrilled to continue the impact together and re-introduce Reebok Golf to a new athlete.”
Images of DeChambeau indicate he will have the Reebok logo on the front right of his chest, the top, centered, of his back and on the back of his cap too. Coming in March 2025, Reebok will tap DeChambeau as the face of Reebok Golf apparel and footwear offerings, including the introduction of the Nano Golf – the brand’s new on-course performance golf shoe. In the meantime, fans can expect to see DeChambeau teasing the upcoming product on-course including his next match on Dec 17th, and Reebok will launch a variety of irreverent digital and social creative content plus consumer activations that highlight the partnership’s new approach to golf. Ahead of the SS25 Performance Golf launch, fans can shop Bryson’s first curated collection, “Bryson’s Picks,” including his favorite training gear including the Nano X4 and FloatZig 1.
