India exacted World Cup revenge on Australia in Saint Lucia
India eliminated Australia with a 24-run win in Group 1 of the Super Eight at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Rohit Sharma scored 94 from 41 balls, taking India to 205-5 at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.
Travis Head scored 76 from 43 in the chase, but the Australians were heavily restricted by Arshdeep Singh’s three-wicket haul.
India qualified as the group winners to set up the semifinal meeting with England.
