All the latest Liverpool FC transfer news this morning as the international break officially commences.
ROMANO UPDATE ON LIVERPOOL TARGET
Liverpool’s midfield has been subject to a lot of turnover in recent years, and new head coach Arne Slot has had to put his own touches to it.
Thankfully, the emergence of Ryan Gravenberch in the defensive midfield position is seemingly putting that question to bed. Alexis Mac Allister has also nailed down the number 8 role on the inside-left, whilst Dominik Szoboszlai occupies the inside-right advanced position.
Szoboszlai has been subject to some questions so far this season, however. With little goal returns and next to some exemplary play, fans have begun to wonder if Szoboszlai is the future in the position.
And seemingly, so have the club. Links have emerged to players who can play in that position over the past few weeks, such as Freiburg youngster Merlin Rohl.

The influence of the Saudi Pro League is only set to grow.
Teams in the Middle East have very openly admired Mohamed Salah and while one of Liverpool’s ex-Reds struggles out there, the prospect of Salah leaving could become more likely.
Making the move to Saudi Arabia in 2023, Roberto Firmino immediately made a bright start for his new club Al-Ahli making 31 goal contributions in 43 matches across all competitions.
In a recent report from Kooora, Firmino is no longer guaranteed a place in the club’s attacking lineup this season, Â and that opens the door for Salah.
DREAM SALAH TRANSFER
Whilst Liverpool’s attacking options are deep, there is also an element of uncertainty surrounding them at the minute.
Mo Salah may be leaving the club at the end of the season, there is a carousel of replacement ideas for Darwin Nuñez and Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo are at odds for a starting role.
Following on from a report about Liverpool’s interest in Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush, German outlet BILD are reporting that the Egyptian international has the long term goal of playing in the Premier League.
ROBERTSON REPLACEMENT

A young Liverpool star has been earning the attention of his national team – and he could find himself replacing stalwart Andy Robertson before long.
With Robertson finding himself increasingly sidelined through injury and fitness issues, Kostas Tsimikas has so far deputised very ably for the Reds this season, but a young academy star out on loan is making a convincing case to be next in line for the left-back position.

A ‘very intelligent’ summer signing has scored their first Liverpool goal during their full debut – and it was a spectacular effort.
