Liverpool in talks to sign EXCITING talent better than Bukayo Saka

Liverpool’s performances on the pitch this season have been excellent but that doesn’t mean that the recruitment team aren’t already looking to the future.

The Reds have been blowing opponents away this season and currently sit top of the Premier League table.

Despite Arne Slot’s early season success, rumours haven’t stopped swirling about who Liverpool might sign in January.

Several players from multiple positions are on Liverpool’s radar, including the likes of Milos Kerkez, who Anfield Watch exclusively revealed has been the subject of an initial approach by the club.

One of the most linked players in recent weeks has been Rayan Cherki, for whom the Reds have been in talks with according to the latest reports, and the Frenchman has put up some seriously impressive stats this season.

Cherki is outperforming Lamine Yamal and Bukayo Saka

Although the 21-year-old has struggled a bit for game time at Lyon this season, he has still been able to impress on the pitch.

One of his most impressive stats is his Shot-Creating Actions per 90, which stands at 8.5.

Cherki’s 8.5 is better than any other player in Europe born in 2001or later this season.

Cherki leads some of the world’s best wingers including Lamine Yamal, Bukayo Saka and also Desire Doue, who Anfield Watch recently exclusively revealed is a Liverpool target.
