Liverpool wonderkid set for shock EXIT

Liverpool have managed a very successful start to the season under new head coach Arne Slot, and the future is looking bright at Anfield.

The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League table and have been in great form to start the campaign, winning 15 of 17 matches in all competitions.

Slot has been able to get the most out of his players so far, and his appointment has been revolutionary for players such as Ryan Gravenberch, Luis Diaz and Ibrahima Konate.

Liverpool’s academy is also producing some top stars, with Harvey Elliott, Conor Bradley and Jarell Quansah all academy graduates in the first team.

It looks like it won’t be long until the next generation of stars progress to the first team too, with Rio Ngumoha, Trey Nyoni and Jayden Danns all spotted in first team training this week, but one Liverpool wonderkid could be on his way out of the club.

Barret-Underwood could be set for a shock exit

Keehan Barret-Underwood may not yet be a household name, but he is a top prospect currently making his way through the Liverpool academy.

The right-back’s ability was recognised recently when he received a call up to the USA’s U17 squad and he has also previously represented England at U16s level.

Now however, the highly rated prospect is reportedly on trial with Leicester City.

Barret-Underwood confirmed that he was at Leicester in a recent Instagram story and the youngster came off the bench on Saturday as the Foxes’ U18s took on Tottenham U18s in the U18 Premier League Cup.

It hasn’t been officially confirmed if Barret-Underwood is on trial at Leicester and it is unclear what his future holds, but it will be a shame for Liverpool supporters to see such a highly rated youngster join another Premier League side.
