LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Regular season play officially starts for Louisville men’s and women’s basketball.
The 2024-25 season for the UofL Cardinals starts Monday, Nov. 4 with both teams competing in big matchups.
Head coach Jeff Walz starts his 18th season with Louisville women’s basketball in France for the 2nd annual Aflac Oui-Play Event. The Cardinals are going up against the UCLA Bruns at 2:30 p.m. at the Adidas Arena in Paris.
The Pat Kelsey era is here as the new Louisville men’s basketball head coach has his first regular season game with the Cardinals at home. It’s an in-state game with the Cards up against the Morehead State Eagles, the most-recent Ohio valley Conference champions. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at the KFC Yum! Center in downtown Louisville.
Last week, Louisville men’s basketball won 99-54 in a crosstown exhibition against the Spalding Golden Eagles.
