After giving up a double-digit lead in a 78-72 loss to No. 11 Oklahoma, No. 22 Louisville women’s basketball is set to face second-ranked UConn.
The Cardinals and Huskies play the second game of the Shark Beauty Women’s Champions Classic, tentatively scheduled to start at 9 p.m. today at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Tennessee and Iowa play the first game at 7 p.m.
UConn leads the series over U of L, 19-3, with two of the Cardinals’ wins coming in the last five years. Last season, the Huskies won, 86-62.

The Huskies open the game with a 5-0 run while shooting 57% from the field.
The Women’s Champions Classic game between the Cardinals and Huskies is set for a 9 p.m. tipoff at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The game will be televised on Fox. Qualified subscribers can also stream the Women’s Champions Classic contest on the Fox Sports website.
