Sep. 20—BEMIDJI — The Bemidji High School girls tennis team defeated Rock Ridge 5-2 Friday afternoon, improving to 21-0 on the season.

Liz Peterson earned an impressive two-set win in No. 2 singles against Alli Fink, one of Rock Ridge’s strongest players.

Lilly Caron and Bailey Rupp also picked up singles wins for BHS at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

Megan Berg and Sam Wood teamed up at No. 1 doubles for a thriller of a three-set match, eventually topping Ayla Troutwine and Nina Paulsen 12-10 in the third set for the win.
