What did you miss?
Married At First Sight viewers branded Sionainn and Ryan’s wedding the show “coldest ever” after she judged him on his looks.
The 29-year-old make-up artist from Glasgow declared she thought the 28-year-old binman from Manchester to be “high maintenance” entirely based on his looks after seeing him standing at the alter. Some viewers speculated that she might not even go through with the wedding after she said: “Right now I feel like this is a massive mistake. Oh Sionainn what have you done?” And she was accused by fans of being judgemental and cold for her reaction.
What, how, and why?
Sionainn did say “I do,” but Ryan admitted he felt awkward and unsure after her reaction to him at the wedding. She confessed she immediately thought “pretty boy” and branded him “high maintenance”. She told Ryan he was not what she had been expecting to see at the end of the aisle.
But later as they talked at the wedding breakfast Ryan revealed he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer and treated with chemo twice. Sionainn, who lost her father to cancer, said she felt she had been too quick to judge him. She said: “I think I might have judged a wee bit too early. and my whole headspace has changed. I do fancy him. I feel happy and buzzing to go on honeymoon now.”

“If Casper steps up, treats me like a proper wife and we’d start having a laugh and there might be a glimmer of hope. I think I need a night to sleep on it and process it.”
Casper said to his friends: “We’re fighting for it. My attraction for him has grown because there have been moments that I’ve thought about kissing it. But right now, is it ever going to grow to something where I’m head over the heels in love with what I know and what I’ve seen? I don’t know. But I’m gonna keep working on it.”
