MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was slashed while walking up Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan on Saturday, police said.
Police said the incident happened around 10:40 a.m. near 237 Madison Ave., which is located between 37th and 38th streets.
A 42-year-old man was walking up the street when he was approached by a person who swung a knife at him and cut his right hand, according to police.
The assailant fled northbound on Madison Avenue, police said.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect, who hasn’t been identified or arrested.
