Manchester City have several players in doubt for West Ham clash

Manchester City will be looking to make it back-to-back Premier League wins when they take West Ham at the Etihad on Saturday. Pep Guardiola’s side will head into the match off the back of a 2-nil win over Leicester City. Heading into the game there are several Manchester City players are in doubt for the match. An update on their availability should be known when Pep Guardiola faces the media later today.

Last weekend saw Rodri, Oscar Bobb, Matheus Nunes, John Stones, Ruben Dias and Ederson all miss the win over Leicester City. Rodri and Oscar Bobb are definitely out of this weekend’s match against West Ham. They are both out with long-term injuries. But in the case of the remaining players, it remains unclear if any of them will be available for Saturday’s match.

Jonathon Storrie has provided an update for The Standard on Manchester City’s injury situation. Although, it doesn’t provide a lot of clarity on the situation. In regards to Ederson, Matheus Nunes and John Stones, Storrie reports that their return date is unknown. David Tully has reported for Man City News that Ruben Dias could return for Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Ipswich Town on January 19th. That timeline would obviously rule him out of Saturday’s clash with West Ham.

A further update on Manchester City’s injured players will be known when Pep Guardiola faces the media today. Guardiola’s press conference should provide more clarity on City’s injury situation.
