As a result, former footballer Troy Deeney believes Rashford must start delivering the performances expected from players who earn high wages.
“At some point, there has to be, and this is not a dig at Marcus because I know Marcus and I like him, but at some point you have to start delivering,” Deeney said on talkSPORT.
“It can’t keep me in potential. We know there’s a player in there because you’re getting paid like somebody that’s meant to be the main man. So when are you going to start acting like him?”
