French midfielder Manu Koné spoke in the aftermath of Roma’s 1-1 draw with Athletic Club tonight.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Koné said, “We worked well during the week, we did everything to win.”
“We were good in the first half, in the second we gave the ball away too easily and waited for them.”
“We conceded a goal in the final minutes, it’s a shame but there were many positive things about tonight.”
“The game got complicated, it was an intense match with many duels and long balls, this led to a drop in physicality. These are small things to fix, we have to continue like this.”
“Juric? Yes, his style is different compared to De Rossi. I’m a professional and I like to adapt to new modules and styles of play.”
“The first few days were a bit difficult, everything was new, but I spoke to the coach and he made me understand many things, I’m growing day by day. I hope to become perfect during the season.”
