Matias Soulé is looking at the opportunity of making his first appearance from the start under newly appointed Roma coach Ivan Juric.
The sudden dismissal of Daniele De Rossi from the club did not work in Soulé’s favor as the Argentine seems to have struggled to impress Juric who demands his attacking players to contribute to the team’s defensive phase – something Soulé is not known for doing.
However, the Argentine winger may soon prove the manager wrong.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, with Paulo Dybala not in optimal shape, Roma are likely to turn to Soulé to cover for him on Sunday as the Giallorossi face Venezia.
Next to him, Tommaso Baldanzi will get his second consecutive start after a positive performance in the Europa League vs Athletic Club.
The two youngsters will play behind Artem Dovbyk who is coming three consecutive games in which he’s scored a goal.
