Mats Hummels after Fiorentina disaster: “Happy for my debut, sad about everything else.”

In yesterday’s debacle in Florence, Mats Hummels finally made his debut for Roma.

The German defender, after his constant benching in both Serie A and the Europa League, was able to enter the field after Hermoso was sent off for a second yellow card.

The former Borussia Dortmund player posted a photo on his Instagram profile with the following caption:

“Happy that i finally had my Serie A debut and first game for this club, unhappy about everything else that happened on the pitch yesterday.”
