This game fills out Michigan’s non-conference slate, as the Wolverines will play a total of 11 non-conference games. Six of their non-conference games are happening at home while the other five are at neutral sites. Some of the key non-conference matchups for Michigan this upcoming season include Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Michigan’s first non-conference game is scheduled against Cleveland State on Nov. 4, which will be head coach Dusty May’s debut. The Wolverines announced May’s hiring after firing Juwan Howard last March. Michigan finished the 2023-24 season with an 8-24 record.
May has been incredibly busy this offseason building up his program. The Wolverines added six players via the transfer portal and completely revamped their coaching staff. You can find a full offseason recap for the program by clicking here.
