Milan are waiting for Tammy Abraham from Roma, but the Rossoneri will travel to the capital for a Serie A game against Lazio with only two centre forwards available, Noah Okafor and Francesco Camarda.
Milan are flying to Rome where they’ll meet Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday in the third Serie A round.
Alvaro Morata is injured, while Luka Jovic has back pain, as revealed by Paulo Fonseca during a pre-match press conference on Friday. The Portuguese coach confirmed that only Okafor and 16-year-old talent Camarda would be the Milan centre forwards available against Lazio tomorrow.
Milan have just two strikers available against Lazio
Fonseca will soon have more options in attack as Milan are finalising a swap deal involving Abraham and Alexis Saelemaekers.
Fonseca didn’t talk about Abraham during today’s press conference as he waited for the club’s official announcement. However, he suggested that Saelemaekers wanted more playing time.
Ismael Bennacer is also out of action due to gastroenteritis, while Malick Thiaw has sustained an ankle injury and hasn’t travelled to Rome with the rest of the team.
