Missouri State men’s basketball announced its non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season, the program’s first under head coach Cuonzo Martin since he departed the program in 2011.

The Bears’ season will tip off at Butler on Nov. 4. Their first home game is Nov. 11 against Missouri Southern.

The Bears will play one exhibition game on Oct. 29 against SBU at Great Southern Bank Arena.

Missouri State’s schedule includes a pair of Division II in-state opponents in Missouri Southern and Lincoln.

UT Arlington, who the Bears host on Nov. 19, finished as the highest-ranked team in the NET that Missouri State will host this season. It finished No. 129 last year and features Keith Pickens, a former MSU standout, as an assistant coach.

“Bear fans get ready for an action-packed season,” Martin said in a release. “We’re excited to unveil our schedule and can’t wait to dive into the unique challenges each game brings. Our team has been putting in the work during the off-season, and we’re pumped to show off our progress and dedication on the court. Join us for every thrilling moment. We’re ecstatic to have you along for the ride.”

Missouri State said the Missouri Valley Conference will release its schedule later in September.
