PARKERSBURG — Discovery World on Market is partnering with Mister Bee Snacks LLC and the Mary Anne and Doug Ketelson Charitable Fund to sell co-branded Mister Bee Chips at the interactive children’s museum in downtown Parkersburg.

“Mary Anne has been instrumental in our success with her support of our Cafe and ongoing support of our initiatives,” Discovery World Executive Director Wendy Shriver said in a press release. “I emailed her asking if she would like to entertain my harebrained idea of co-branding a bag of chips with our mascot Izzy. Mary Anne agreed to the idea and set into motion this donation … to benefit the museum.”

The 2-ounce bags of chips were delivered to the museum by Ketelson in August and will be sold exclusively at this time at the museum’s cafe. Discovery World STEAM Manager Logan Mace designed the bag.

“It is an exciting opportunity to design this exclusive bag. But more than that, this is an opportunity to support the museum in a unique and tasty way,” Mace said in the release. “Our grab-and-go Cafe (has) sold Mister Bee chips since we opened, and it is exciting to now be able to sell our ‘own’ chips.”
