Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini is reportedly on top of Antonio Conte’s wishlist, and Napoli could offer one of his most sought-after players in change to sign the midfielder.
A number of teams, including Juventus, Atalanta and Olympique Marseille, have been monitoring striker Giacomo Raspadori, who is reportedly willing to get more playing minutes away from the Stadio Diego Maradona.
Napoli could include Raspadori in swap for Roma’s Pellegrini
According to Calciomercato.com, Roma have also set sights on the Italy international, and the Partenopei could leverage their interest to get their hands on Pellegrini, whom Conte deems as an ideal profile to reinforce his side’s midfield.
The departure of Michael Folorunsho, who is currently on Fiorentina’s radar, could make room for the 28-year-old, although his seasonal wages of €6m, including bonuses, could be considered too high by Napoli, forcing the creative midfielder to lower his demands if he wants to leave the Stadio Olimpico.
In case the deal doesn’t go through, Napoli could still include Raspadori in a swap with Juventus that would see Danilo and Nicolò Fagioli head in the opposite direction.
