New York Jets News: Leon Washington loses job on Jets coaching staff

Date:

Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The New York Jets have reportedly fired coach and former player Leon Washington from the team. However, even though this apparently occurred many weeks ago, it was just recently reported in the media outlets. One of the reasons for this could be because Washington was part of the massive amount of ‘sources’ that were reportedly bad-mouthing head coach Robert Saleh. While this is only a theory, it seems like it could be very possible. After all, the beat for the Jets is little more than a mouthpiece for the front office – and with nothing being announced until now, it seems like the split between the two wasn’t so friendly. Who knows what happened. What we do know, is that these are your links to the Jets to start your morning.
