Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, who joined from Eintracht Frankfurt in a €90M move and is contracted until 2028, could be on the way out this winter.
According to TBR Football, intermediaries have begun gauging interest from several Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United, as the January window nears.
English journalist Graeme Bailey reports that PSG coach Luis Enrique has requested Kolo Muani’s departure, as he no longer sees the French forward in his plans.
L’Équipe adds that PSG views Kolo Muani’s stint as disappointing, with preparations already underway for his exit, valuing him between €40 million and €50 million.
Randal Kolo Muani to the Premier League?
Fichajes reports that Kolo Muani is emerging as a strong candidate to fill the potential gap that Alexander Isak might leave at Newcastle United. With rumors swirling about the Swedish striker’s departure, the club has already started looking into quality options to maintain their high offensive performance.
Although Kolo Muani arrived at PSG with great expectations, he hasn’t entirely lived up to them, resulting in growing dissatisfaction within the club and creating an opportunity for a change of scenery. Isak is under contract with Newcastle until 2028, but top clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are showing interest.
In light of the speculation, manager Eddie Howe reassured fans about Isak’s future, saying, “We love him and want him to be part of Newcastle for years, scoring goals. For now, I don’t see any short-term issues with his contract.”
Kolo Muani has faced challenges at PSG but remains a standout for the French national team. Recently, he reminded everyone of his talent by scoring twice against Belgium during the FIFA international break, raising questions about whether his struggles at PSG might be linked to Luis Enrique’s management.
