Nine-year-old is latest beneficiary of cricket philanthropy project   – Stabroek News

Date:

Nine-year-old Aaryan Hooblall has become the youngest cricketer to benefit from the Cricket Philanthropy Project, a joint initiative by Anil Beharry of Guyana and Kishan Das of the USA. Aaryan, a Grade Three student at Valmiki Vidyalaya Primary School, received essential cricket gear, including a pair of batting pads, gloves, and a protective box.

An aspiring all-rounder, Aaryan bowls right-arm medium pace and bats left-handed. His dream? To don the iconic maroon and represent the West Indies on the international stage. Expressing gratitude for the support, the young cricketer promised to work hard both on and off the field, striking a balance between academics and sports.
