Noida International Airport has teamed up with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to introduce a premium, eco-friendly electric taxi service for passengers. As part of the collaboration, Mahindra Logistics will deploy a fleet of fully electric vehicles, offering travelers a smooth, green ride. The service will provide premium pickup and drop-off spots conveniently located at the arrival and departure zones, reducing walking distances for passengers.
This partnership ensures reliable, sustainable transportation options at NIA, available around the clock, seven days a week. Travelers will have multiple ways to book their rides, including a dedicated mobile app, website, call center, airport kiosks, and through airline partnerships. This multi-faceted approach guarantees accessibility and ease of use for all passengers.
Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, Noida International Airport, said “At NIA, your journey will not end with
baggage claim. We are excited to partner with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to offer a premium, all-electric
taxi service, to provide a seamless and environment-friendly ride directly from the airport to your
destination. This first-of-its-kind airport-branded cab service will set a new benchmark for passenger
convenience and environmental responsibility. This partnership is also a testament to our commitment to
providing a best-in-class passenger experience, from the moment they arrive at the airport to the moment
they depart for their destination.”
Mahindra Logistics Mobility’s operational approach emphasizes both safety and efficiency. Drivers will undergo comprehensive training in airport protocols and customer service, ensuring they provide exceptional service to passengers. The fleet will be managed with flexibility, allowing real-time adjustments based on passenger demand and flight schedules. This strategy aims to minimize wait times and extend the service hours available. Additionally, a strong feedback system will be implemented to continuously assess and enhance service quality.
This collaboration also highlights Noida International Airport’s dedication to sustainability, as it will feature an all-electric fleet that supports the airport’s green and eco-friendly vision.
Noida International Airport will blend Indian hospitality with Swiss precision, creating a modern, user-centric design inspired by India’s rich heritage. The first phase will include one runway and a terminal, with the capacity to accommodate 12 million passengers annually. Once fully developed across all four phases, the airport will be able to handle up to 70 million passengers per year.
