ST LOUIS— Lambert has hit a new milestone.
Last year, 15,946,730 passengers moved through St. Louis Lambert International Airport, the highest number of travelers since 2003 when just under 20.5 million passengers flew through the airport. The 2024 total passenger number is also 7.1% higher than in 2023, when 14,886,000 traveled through St. Louis.
“We are very pleased with last year’s performance and we believe the trajectory will only increase in the coming years,” said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, STL Airport Director. “This recent 20-year high shows the strength of our relationships with our airline partners and the support we receive from the region as we all focus together on growing STL.”
In 2019, 15,878,527 passengers came through St. Louis, the previous high mark. However, with the release of the 2024 numbers, St. Louis has now surpassed that and shows significant growth since coming out of the pandemic.
