Nuno reveals triple Forest injury concern ahead of Ipswich clash

Date:

Nuno Espírito Santo has revealed Nottingham Forest are assessing several key players for Saturday’s clash with Ipswich Town.

Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliott Anderson both missed last weekend’s defeat at Arsenal while Anthony Elanga was withdrawn at half-time due to a shoulder injury.

The trio face a race against time to put themselves back in contention for the Premier League newcomers’ trip to the City Ground.

“We have to assess the players and see how they are,” said Nuno.

“They are improving. Danilo is also improving. Let’s see tomorrow how they are, if they can help the team.

“It is the same for Anthony Elanga. He is still being assessed, he came out with a very painful situation but the doctors are looking after him.”

Forest currently sit seventh in the table with 19 points from their opening 12 games.
