The Crusaders fell just one stroke short of the leader, Bolles (297). But as runner-up, they automatically move onto the state tournament, which spans two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) at Mission Resort + Club at Howey-in-the-Hills. The boys tournament will be held on the El Campeon Course.

Hudson Mitchell finished second overall at the tournament out of 72 golfers to lead Pensacola Catholic, carding a one-under par 70 on the day, with seven birdies on the day, including the par-3 second hole. Bolles’ Luke Balaskiewicz, with a 68 on the day, was the low medalist of the tournament.

All of Pensacola Catholic’s golfers finished within the top 30 of the field, as well.

Northview, also completing as a team at regionals, came in sixth overall with a score of 334, led by a seven-over par 78 from junior Luke Godwin. It’s still to be determined if any other area golfers from Northview make it to the state tournament as an at-large bid from the iWanamaker rankings.

Adam Penrod and Judah Talley both finished as the Patriots’ low scores of the day, carding a two-over par 74 on the round to end the day in a three-way tie for 15th with Ponte Vedra’s Jack Chung. The Sharks’ Jake Mason and Jaspreet Kondal tied for low medalist honors with a four-under par 68, though Mason’s card was blemish-free with an eagle and two birdies.
