Person dies in fatal Midtown Sacramento shooting

(FOX40.COM) — One person is dead, and another person is hospitalized after a shooting in Midtown Sacramento early Saturday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Around 1 a.m., SPD responded to the 2400 Block of J Street for a reported shooting. When officers arrived at the scene, they said they found two men with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for their injuries. As of 11:23 a.m., one man is in stable condition, however, the other died.
