Lautaro Martinez returned to the scoresheet on Wednesday night as Inter Milan trounced Empoli 3-0 at Stadio Carlo Castellani.
Davide Frattesi’s second-half brace set the tone for Inter’s convincing triumph in Tuscany.
When it looked like Martinez would fail to score again, he finished off with aplomb in the 79th minute to seal the victory.
That was his 134th goal for Inter in all competitions since he joined the Nerazzurri from Racing Club in 2018.
After becoming the most prolific foreigner at Giuseppe Meazza, he took to Instagram to celebrate this feat with the caption “134.”
