Inter Milan got a dramatic win over Lazio in Serie A this evening.
The Nerazzurri knew it was going to be tough against an in-form Biancocelesti team.
However, after Inter weathered the storm in the first half, they really took control.
Inter put an eye-watering six goals past Lazio keeper Ivan Provedel.
It was Hakan Calhanoglu who opened the scoring in the first half. Then, Federico Dimarco scored a second before halftime.
Nicolo Barella scored a screamer to really put Inter in the ascendancy in the second half. Then, goals from the likes of Denzel Dumfries, Carlos Augusto, and Marcus Thuram followed.
As football stats account Opta note, this was a record.
