Last season’s most prolific Serie A midfielder attended the ceremony alongside Lautaro Martinez and Yann Sommer.
The formidable trio formed the backbone of Inter’s inexorable march to their 20th Scudetto in 2023/24.
After the ceremony, Calhanoglu took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion.
He posted a photo expressing his delight about joining a select group of players to be at the ceremony.
“Proud to be among the world’s best,” was the caption alongside the image.
