Roma midfielder Niccolo Pisilli had a special message to former teammate Edoardo Bove following the Giallorossi’s 4-1 win over Lecce.
In his post-match interview, Pisilli dedicated the goal he scored in the second half to Bove who recently suffered a cardiac arrest.
“This goal is all his, I hope things go well because he is a golden lad,” said Pisilli.
“He helped me fit into the team and he was the most important person in football for me.”
“I sent him a message but it is right that he has his privacy. I dedicate the goal to him and send him a big hug.”
“I always dreamed of running towards the Curva Sud. I will never forget it,” he added.
“I always try to give 100%. Some coaches may like me more or less, but the main thing is to put all of myself into what I do.”
