PITT BASKETBALL SCHEDULE FEATURES QUIET DECEMBER

The ACC has released Pitt’s conference basketball schedule, and the Panthers will avoid any trips to the west coast to play newcomers Stanford and California.  They’ll also avoid playing much basketball at all in December.

Pitt will open ACC play December 7^th at Virginia Tech in what will be their third straight road game.  They play nonconference on the road against Ohio State November 29^th and Mississippi State December 3^rd.

The Panthers will play only three times in December, following up the Virgina Tech game with home games December 11^th against Eastern Kentucky and the 21^st against Sam Houston State.  The ACC schedule picks up again with a New Year’s Day game at home versus California, and another home game on January 4^th against Stanford.
