Predicted Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin XIs

Vincent Kompany will make a late decision on Dayot Upamecano and Eric Dier ahead of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga clash against Union Berlin at the Allianz Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Upamecano missed Bayern Munich’s 4-0 win against Mainz in the DFB Pokal due to a thigh problem, but there’s hope that the French defender will return against Union. This game does however come too soon for Sacha Boey and Josip Stanisić, while Aleksandar Pavlović is sidelined for the foreseeable after suffering a broken collarbone against Stuttgart.

Union, who has the second-best defensive record in the Bundesliga this season, are struggling with injuries themselves. Lucas Tousart has missed Union’s last three Bundesliga games through injury, but Aljoscha Kemlein has come into the starting lineup and made the place his own. The 20-year-old has started Union’s last three league games and scored in a 2-0 win against Holstein Kiel. Josip Juranović is also sidelined.

Predicted Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin XIs

Bayern Munich: Manuel Neuer – Raphael Guerreiro, Dayot Upamecano, Kim Min-jae, Alphonso Davies – Joshua Kimmich, Joao Palhinha – Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry – Harry Kane

Union Berlin: Frederik Rønnow – Danilho Doekhi, Kevin Vogt, Diogo Leite – Christopher Trimmel, Aljoscha Kemlein, Rani Khedira, Tom Rothe – Jeong Woo-yeong, Yorbe Vertessen – Bernd Hollerbach.
