PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Roma v Lecce

Crisis-ridden Roma hope to turnaround things when they face Lecce at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.

Roma come into this match on the back of a six-game winless run across all competitions. Currently sitting 16th in the league standings, the Giallorossi have failed to string together a run of positive performances this season and have therefore plunged into a state of emergency since day one. The 2-0 defeat to a relentless Atalanta side left Roma in a precarious condition as their losses tally increased to seven in the Serie A so far in the campaign. While Claudio Ranieri have chided this squad and key players like Paulo Dybala and others for their underwhelming outings, the game against Lecce is a perfect opportunity to mastermind a comeback into the season.

As for Lecce, they are level on points with their hosts for tomorrow. New boss Marco Giampaolo’s reign at the club has brought them a victory against Venezia and a 1-1 draw with Juventus. Ante Rebic’s stoppage-time strike versus the Bianconeri earned the Salentini a point from a hardly fought contest. Lecce will hope to continue their defensive solidity as they aim to frustrate Roma into settling for a draw.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match:

Roma (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Mancini, Hummels, Ndicka; Celik, Kone, Cristante, Angelino; Dybala, Pellegrini; Dovbyk

Lecce (4-2-3-1): Falcone; Guilbert, Gaspar, Baschirotto, Pelmard; Coulibaly, Ramadani; Dorgu, Rafia, Pierotti; Krstovic
