PREP BOYS TENNIS: Fountain Central shuts out Greencastle

Sep. 26—GREENCASTLE, Ind. — The Fountain Central boys tennis team hit the road and cruised to a 5-0 win over Greencastle on Thursday.

Gabe McCollum, Skyler Hoagland and Ayden Batchelor each won in singles for the Mustangs, while the teams of Levi McTagertt and Levi Miller and William Armstrong and Jose Duarte-Grajales each won in doubles.

Fountain Central will take part in the Wabash River Conference Tournament on Saturday.

Singles — Gabe McCollum (FC) def. Jay Glotzbach 6-3, 6-4. Skyler Hoagland (FC) def. Gavin Tyson 6-1, 6-1. Ayden Batchelor (FC) def. Griffin Beasley 6-0, 6-2.

Doubles — Levi McTagertt-Levi Miller (FC) def. Mitch Staggers-Cayden Scott 6-1, 6-4. William Armstrong-Jose Duarte-Grajales (FC) def. Kyle Brentinger-Keita Noro 6-3, 3-6, 6-2
