PSG reject AS Monaco’s Randal Kolo Muani offer

Paris Saint-Germain faced AS Monaco in the Trophée des Champions in Qatar on Sunday. Once again, Randal Kolo Muani (26) was absent entirely from the matchday squad with his future clearly elsewhere.

PSG’s opponent on Sunday, as they retained the Trophée des Champions, was Monaco. The Principality club are in the market for a striker this January after it was confirmed that Folarin Balogun would miss several months of action after being forced to undergo surgery on his shoulder injury.

Manfred Ugalde has been touted as an option by Mohamed Toubahce-Ter and L’Équipe, whilst Fabrizio Romano understands that there is an agreement on personal terms with Mika Biereth. However, the club have also shown a strong interest in Kolo Muani, strong enough to submit a bid.

A straight loan offer was made by Monaco but has been rejected, according to TéléfootLes Parisiens want to sell the striker or loan him with an option to buy. Aston Villa, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, AC Milan, and Juventus all remain interested in Kolo Muani, as per Téléfoot.
