With Ruben Amorim now at the helm of Manchester United, Marcus Rashford’s future at the club could see a shift heading into the 2024-25 season. Despite this, transfer speculation surrounding the English forward continues to gain traction.
In October, TEAMtalk reported that Paris Saint-Germain have renewed their interest in Rashford. Although the same obstacles that hindered a summer transfer remain, the Ligue 1 club might revisit the idea of signing him next year.
The outlet adds in a different report that PSG manager Luis Enrique is a strong admirer of Rashford, seeing him as a player capable of recapturing his top form. Meanwhile, TEAMtalk also claims Manchester United could be open to selling their star forward.
Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail suggests the Red Devils would consider offers in the region of £40 million for Rashford.
Are PSG prepared to make an offer for Marcus Rashford?
PSG have reportedly made their opening bid for Marcus Rashford. Reports suggest that Manchester United might consider selling their academy graduate during the January transfer window. However, according to Fichajes (h/t The Mirror), PSG’s £75 million offer isn’t enough to convince United to part ways with the forward.
It’s hard to envision the Ligue 1 side paying £75 million for Rashford who has been inconsistent after his 2022-23 season. After whiffing on Randal Kolo Muani, PSG could be extra cautious in spending a significant amount on a forward to ensure they get their money’s worth.
