Real Madrid yet to discuss buyback possibility for former academy ace despite defensive problems

Recent insights from journalist Rodra, reported by RM4 Arab, indicate that Real Madrid have yet to make inquiries regarding Miguel Gutierrez, even though the club retains 50% of his rights and can bring him back for a mere €8 million.

It has been suggested that within the team, there are currently no active discussions about Gutierrez, despite him being one of the young talents highly regarded by the management.

Real Madrid’s left-back situation has become a significant topic of conversation. The struggles of Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy, along with Carlo Ancelotti’s challenges in addressing these issues, have not prompted the club to expedite Gutierrez’s return.

Instead, the team appears to be focused on securing a high-profile left-back, with Alphonso Davies being a prominent target. Davies is set to be available for negotiation in January, which aligns with the club’s strategy.

Real Madrid not thinking about Gutierrez

In the meantime, Gutierrez’s performances for Girona have not gone unnoticed by major clubs across Europe. Although these clubs refrained from making bids during the summer transfer window, many are already considering their options for the future.

Napoli are among the latest clubs expressing interest in acquiring Gutierrez’s services. However, one notable absence from this list is Real Madrid, which raises questions about their commitment to bringing him back.

Gutierrez has made a significant impact at Girona, contributing two goals and three assists in 15 matches this season.

He has established himself as a crucial playmaker, showcasing his ability to influence the game both through his presence on the field and his precise crossing from the flanks.

Despite his impressive statistics and contributions, Real Madrid have not demonstrated a strong interest in securing his transfer.

While Gutierrez continues to excel at Girona, Real Madrid’s lack of urgency regarding his potential return is puzzling, especially given his talent and the ongoing challenges the team faces at left-back.
