Report – €40M Rated Italy Star Pushing To Leave Inter Milan, Roma Keen

Midfielder Davide Frattesi is reportedly pushing to leave Inter Milan, with Roma keen to sign the Italy international.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri want €40 million for the 25-year-old.

Frattesi is now midway through his second season at Inter.

The Italian joined Inter from Sassuolo in the summer of 2023.

And Frattesi has still not cemented himself as a regular starter for the Nerazzurri.

That is not to say that the 25-year-old has not found playing time. Particularly as a substitute, he has appeared regularly.

However, Frattesi is not a first-choice starter when everyone is fit.

Davide Frattesi Pushes For Inter Exit In Search Of Playing Time – Roma Keen

Frattesi has lost patience, according to the Corriere. He is intent on playing at a club where he’ll be a first-choice starter.

There looks to be little chance of Frattesi usurping fellow Italian international Nicolo Barella in the Inter lineup.

Moreover, the arrival of Piotr Zielinski last summer has increased the competition for places at Inter.

Therefore, the Corriere report, Frattesi’s representatives have made clear that he wants out.

Moreover, the newspaper claim, the 25-year-old wants to leave Inter as soon as this January.

And Roma are the club that Frattesi would most likely to move to. The Giallorossi are the Italian international’s boyhood club.

For their part, Roma are keen to take advantage of the situation.

However, Inter have made clear that Frattesi won’t come cheap. They want a fee of at least €40 million to sell the former Sassuolo midfielder.
