Report: Roma fear potential ankle fracture for Alexis Saelemaekers

Bad news for Daniele De Rossi who may be looking at having to do without Alexis Saelemaekers for an extended period of time.

The Belgian winger – who joined the Giallorossi just two weeks on a deadline day move from Milan – is already out of action after suffering a serious injury in today’s draw with Genoa.

Saelemaekers was forced off the pitch with an apparent ankle injury at the 48th minute earlier today.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are fearing an ankle fracture for Saelemaekers who made his return to Trigoria and will undergo further tests tomorrow.

The player could miss up to two months of action, reports the newspaper.
